SHOES

Never judge a man until you’ve walked in his shoes..
We’ve all heard this before.
Suppose you have a friend who seems to love playing practical jokes. And you hate it! But you never gave a thought as to why he does it. Maybe there are things tearing at him, things he feels he has no control over. So, he plays practical jokes to get even with society. He wants to make others look silly, because he feels he looks silly.
Now you’re saying to yourself, “What kind of guy would play these kind of tricks?”
That’s a judgment.
You are judging him. And since it’s impossible to see things in someone that don’t exist in us, we are judging ourselves.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to accept him as he is? Then, we would be accepting ourselves, which is a giant step toward loving ourselves - which is the final step toward loving others.

***Very well said, right?

Don't you just hate it when some people interfere on your BI and impose things on you like THEY FREAKIN' RUN YOUR LIFE??? (Oh my effin' god!!! ~with my eyes rolling)

It's one of my major pet peeves... As a gemini and for the simple reason that my name is Genevieve Gwen, I'M A WALKING HEADSTRONG.

And for vocabulary fix, HEADSTRONG AND STUBBORN are completely two different things which is often confused

I am nice, I KNOW HOW TO LISTEN, I'm open to other people's suggestion, but at the end of the day NO ONE CAN DICTATE OF WHAT I'M SUPPOSED TO DO nor what my choices should be. I always tell my friends that amongst all the things in this world, RESPECT is the most vital thing in any relationship. If you think you have a better idea of what a person is supposed to do with his/her life, say it to the person... BUT NEVER EVER ACT as if you know everything and harass the person to do what you think is right... Because it's always different from the point of view of the object.

We all have diverse judgment and I think UNLESS you're directly affcted of the person's action, shake it off and let that person do his/ her thing.

I really admire people who respect people's actions regardless of what he sees (unless its something deliberately alarming!!!)

And I guess that's one of the major techniques on how to be really happy, don't be prejudice about people and their actions... In that way, no expectaions and no disapointments, but always give it ur best...*wink*
